Taylor developed her passion for yoga after experiencing her first class back in 2012. She left the studio feeling captivated, calm, and connected to her body. She instantly knew she came across something special. Since then, she has found salvation in movement and pranayama during periods of anxiety and has dedicated her practice to healing her relationship with herself. Meditation and asana impacted Taylor’s life in so many positive ways that it sparked a desire to share the healing power of breath work and mindful movement with as many people as she could.
After many years of developing her personal practice Taylor went on to complete her RYT-200 level certification. Originally trained in Hatha yoga, she has also completed additional training in sound therapy, Yin yoga, and a specialization in Restorative yoga.
Her heart is warm and as a teacher Taylor is committed to facilitating classes that are healing and inclusive. Offering clear cues for beginners, options for those who are less mobile, and progressions for those who wish to go deeper. Creating a safe space where students are free to listen to their own bodies. Her classes focus on utilizing asana and pranayama to support the nervous system and restore balance within the body. Starting from a place of love and acceptance, she will guide students in a meditative and mindful manner while presenting opportunities for them to dig deeper within themselves, guiding them to create a deeper mind, body, breath connection.
Outside of teaching yoga you can find Taylor running her business as a wedding and lifestyle photographer, wandering through nature, working on her garden, cooking for her family and friends, or enjoying a session at the rock-climbing gym.
